About ERS

For over 35 years Educational Research Service has been the nonprofit organization serving the research and information needs of the nation's K-12 education leaders and the public.

And for over 35 years our mission has remained the same...to improve the education of children and youth by providing educators and the public with timely and reliable research and information.

ERS was established by national associations of school administrators to fill a pressing need in education for an independent organization to provide reliable, objective research and data to enable local school district administrators to make the most effective school decisions. Six national associations of school administrators are recognized as ERS Founders, with the executive directors of each comprising our Board of Directors:

• American Association of School Administrators
• American Association of School Personnel Administrators
• Association of School Business Officials  
• National Association of Elementary School Principals
• National Association of Secondary School Principals
• National School Public Relations Association

ERS's program of services is financially supported by our many varied subscribers, including school districts across the country, who value our unbiased research.
