Ordering Information
At ERS we are committed to providing exceptional customer service--which is why we process and ship your order from our office in Alexandria, Virginia.
All orders placed via our online catalog are processed within 24 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday.
Payment for online orders can be made via credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express), and school districts are welcome to make payment via purchase order.
If you are ordering from ERS for the first time, please provide a credit card for payment.
Shipping/Delivery Information
To ensure timely delivery of your order, most orders are shipped via UPS Ground Service, with the following exceptions:
- Orders with a U.S. post office box address are shipped via USPS.
- Orders from APO addresses are shipped via USPS (standard shipping charges apply).
- Orders from Hawaii and Alaska are shipped via UPS next day or 2nd day service or via USPS (express shipping charges apply if shipped via UPS).
- International orders are shipped via USPS.
Our standard shipping charge is the greater of $4.50 or 10% of the total order.
UPS express shipping options are available at the following rates:
- UPS 3-day shipping - please add an additional $10.00 to your total order.
- UPS 2-day shipping - please add an additional $20.00 to your total order.
- UPS overnight shipping - please add an additional $30.00 to your total order.
For international orders, shipping charges are doubled. (For some international orders, additional shipping charges may apply. Please call (800) 791-9308 or (703) 243-2100 or email ERS with questions.)
As most orders are shipped via UPS Ground Service, weekend deliveries are not standard with this service. If you need to receive your order on a Saturday, please call for additional shipping charges or email ERS.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
ERS is committed to providing exceptional customer service and providing resources helpful to you in making education decisions. If for some reason, though, you are not completely satisfied with any ERS resource, you may return the item.
To ensure fastest processing of your return, please call ERS to pre-authorize your return within 30 days of receiving your order. Please make sure the item is in its original condition (no stickers or labels).
Once ERS receives the returned item, we will refund you the original amount of the item less shipping charges. Refunds will be made via your original payment method.
